Peter Andre is doing Strictly Come Dancing!

The Tango-tanned pop star will be bringing his Mysterious Girl moves - which is basically lots of rubbing of ab muscles - to the Strictly dancefloor when the show begins later this year.

Peter, who recently married his girlfriend Emily Macdonagh, said: Peter said: “Strictly Come Dancing is an incredible show. I’ve always loved watching it on TV and to be honest I’m flattered to have been asked to take part before, but due to certain work commitments was unable to.

"I now feel the time is right to give it a go - everything has just clicked into place to do it this year. Wish me luck please…argh!!”

Peter is no stranger to celebrity reality shows - he relaunched his career after taking part in *I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here *back in 2004, and this is also where he famously met his ex-wife, Katie Price.

Pete now has to postpone the second part of his honeymoon with Emily Macdonagh, due to his busy schedule this year. He'll be hitting the floor along with Jeremy Vine, Ainsley Harriott, Kellie Bright, Georgia May Foote, Katie Derham and Carol Kirkwood later this autumn.
