It's the story we all thought we knew - the Army Major who cheated on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? back in 2001 with his wife and one other person. Charles and Diana Ingram were both found guilty after the coughing scandal nearly 20 years ago, and have now been the subject of a dramatisation of the events.
The three-part drama, which showed what happened leading up to Charles' fateful day in the chair as well as the day itself and the aftermath, has been widely praised - not least for Michael Sheen's incredible portrayal of show host Chris Tarrant.
Despite the trio - Charles and Diana Ingram as well as their 'accomplice' Tecwen Whittock - being found guilty all those years ago, a speech made by their defence lawyer in the dramatic finale last night (16th April) has really made many people question whether they could, in fact, be innocent.
Helen McCrory's character Sonia Woodley QC gave an incredibly compelling argument in her closing statement of the court case, using various examples of psychology to explain how they could very well be innocent.
