The X Factor starts on Saturday, which means it's practically mid-winter and we need to cancel all upcoming plans, set up a standing order to take-away restaurants and stock up on a range of oversize jumpers and slankets (yep, still a thing).
It also means we're going to be seeing a whole load of hopeful X Factor contestants attempt to impress the judges with their vocal abilities, musical prowess and all round 'star quality'. We're certain a few novelty acts will slip through the net, too.

Because we're quite literally incapable of waiting 2 days to see what the first round of X Factor auditions have in store, we've tracked down a little preview clip from the first episode.
It features vocal group Rak-Su performing an original song for Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne, and if we're honest they absolutely nail it.
AND SCHERZY'S A BIG FAN.

The rapping/singing group performed their original song I'm Feeling You, and pretty much everyone loved it. Nicole was singing along, Dermot O'Leary got involved, even Simon coudn't hide his joy when the boys mix it up with a bit of freestyle. Yeah, we see that cheeky little smile, Si hun.

Watch it for yourself here (ignore the out of time clapping, it's very stressful):
Louis seems to be loving it too, so we're expecting BIG things from these boys.
Based in Watford, the band is made up of rapper/singer/poet Ashley, singer/songwriter Jamaal, rapper and producer Myles, and Mustafa, a DJ, dancer and beatboxer.
And if you want to hear more (you do), Rak-Su already have an EP out called Dive.

Plus, these two judges are already feuding, and we haven't even made it to the live shows
yet.
And, sad news guys, does this mean Cheryl's ruled out ever returning to X Factor?
