Every so often, the news that certain TV stars are actually related does the rounds, and people who previously had no clue are always left utterly stunned. Take former EastEnders star Rita Simons and Lord Alan Sugar, for example - when she was on I'm A Celeb! in 2018, people on Twitter literally couldn't believe that they're related.
There's also Oscar winner Gary Oldman and EastEnders actress Laila Morse (AKA Big Mo) who are brother and sister, and Hollyoaks' Jamie Lomas and Emmerdale's Charley Webb, whose family ties came to light when he was on I'm A Celeb! in 2017.
Charley, who plays Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap, wrote on Twitter, 'It's TIME..........@imacelebrity now on @ITV. Excited to see what the brothers been up to. #TeamLomas ๐ @jamielomas1' . [sic]
So, just to save you the hassle in the future, we've decided to take a look at which other famous TV stars you might not know are related.
Some of them have starred alongside each other in the same soap, such as Hollyoaks actors Nick and John Pickard who played half brothers Tony and Dom in the Channel 4 soap, but are also brothers in real life. Brooke Vincent and Ellie Leach, who play Sophie Webster and Faye Windass in Coronation Street, not only share the screen but a family connection as they are cousins.
