Rochelle Humes ‘favourite to replace Sarah-Jane Crawford as Xtra Factor host’

We’ve been so preoccupied with the X Factor main show with all the rumours about new judges joining the panel that we’d totally forgotten about Xtra Factor.

Sarah Jane-Crawford confirmed she was leaving the ITV2 spin-off earlier this year meaning the job of show host needs to be filled.

And it seems Rochelle Humes is one of the hot favourites to replace Sarah-Jane when the new series starts this summer.

A source told the Daily Express: “The decision over who will take over on the Xtra Factor will be made soon and Rochelle is one of the leading contenders.

“She’s got a lot of presenting experience, she’s funny and likeable and knows how the pop game works.”

Rochelle’s beautiful face has been getting all over our tellyboxes lately with her occasionally co-presenting This Morning with her former JLS singer husband Marvin Humes, and she also fronts ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK as well as Sweat The Small Stuff on BBC Three.

Before her time in The Saturdays Rochelle was a member of S Club Juniors, later known as S Club 8, and has been in the music industry since the age of 12 so could certainly offer some advice to the X Factor hopefuls.

YouTube star Zoella was recently rumoured to be joining Xtra Factor as the new host but she spoke out to deny this.

After hearing the rumours, she tweeted: “I don’t know where this has come from? I’m definitely not.”
