Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has shared the first image of the Netflix reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch starring Kiernan Shipka and Ross Lynch.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is a 2018 update on the absolute '90s classic which, like Riverdale, was based on a series by Archie Comics and saw Melissa Joan Hart play the protagonist.
Posting our first look at the new characters, Roberto said: "Well, it’s out there. A 1st look at Harvey and Sabrina from the “Chilling Adventures of #Sabrina.” ADORBS, right?"
RIGHT.
Fans are obviously well excited for the show, too; with one Twitter user replying "ross lynch with dark hair has me SHOOK" and another saying "They look great! Cannot wait for this!!!" [sic].
Though many compared Ross's style to Riverdale character Jughead's trademark look. One asked: "Is that...Jughead's stunt double?" with another questioning "Adorbs but are they dressing Harvey in #Jughead's extra cloths?" [sic].

According to Variety, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will see Sabrina 'wrestling to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family, and the daylight world humans inhabit.'
TV Line reports that the reboot 'imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft.'
