Since we're so heavily invested in The X Factor this year (is it just us, or is this the best series since 2010?), news of this 'mystery bug' sweeping the contestants' house has us worried. Are we gonna have to, like, make plans and actually socialise with people if the whole thing's cancelled?
No, YOU need to get a life. We had a cosy weekend planned. Hmph.

Anyhoo, despite the fact Sean and Conor Price have confirmed they're 'fighting fit' and ready to take on George Michael's Freedom! '90 this weekend; things aren't looking too great for poor Sam Black. Yup - he's been struck down with said 'mystery bug' but has assured us he'll still perform this Sunday. THANK HEAVENS.
Chatting about the possibility he might be too unwell to give us a rendition of I'm Your Man, Sam told us: "I went to rehearsals before and my voice started going. I'm going to be on vocal rest, I think."
So, is he actually performing or what? "No matter what I'd always go out there and do my best anyway. It's a massive risk, but that's all I can do; go out there and do my best."
The announcement there's no double elimination as initially planned this week's eased Sam's nerves a bit, though. He added: "I was definitely thinking 'oh, I'm going,' and there's obviously still a good possibility I could go this week because I'm up against the girls and Lloyd [Macey].
"I feel like I'm the only one who goes out and relies on performing rather than singing, but I'm just going to do my best. It's tough every weekend."
