The Sun reports that 20-year-old plasterer Sam Black was charged with ABH after being involved in a fight when he was 18,
As a result of Sam's actions, he was given a suspended sentence and given a fine from a judge at Liverpool Crown Court.
Sam Black was Anthony Russel's replacement in Louis Walsh's boy's categories after he was booted off the show for drug-use.
Sam told The Sun, ''When I look back, I think, “What a stupid thing to get involved in”. It’s something I regret entirely and I’ve grown up a lot since I met (fiancée) Emma and had my son Mason.
‘Now I’m focused on my family, my career and bettering all our lives through The X Factor.’
Last night, Sam performed Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande’s Faith, which left the three judges delighted.
