The X Factor live shows started this week and (aside from all the singing and stuff) by far the best thing about them is all the absolute FITLORDS that are performing this year.
We’ve got Matt Linnen, all of Rak-Su (or Katsu if you’re Sharon Osbourne), and, of course, Sam Black.
Sam originally didn’t make it through bootcamp, but he was brought back by Louis Walsh to replace Anthony Russell, who was let go from the show after an alleged drug offence.

Who is Sam Black? What’s his age? And job?
Sam is a 20-year-old plasterer from Liverpool. He auditioned for The X Factor 2017, but didn’t make it through to Six Chair Challenge.
He was subsequently brought back to Louis Walsh’s Boys category for Judges Houses, after contestant Anthony Russell failed a drug test and was dropped from the competition.
Does Sam Black have a girlfriend?
Those of you who’ve fallen head over heels for Sam since he joined the show (and who hasn’t tbh) will be saddened to learn Sam has a fiancé… which brings us to…
Sam Black’s X Factor PROPOSAL
Sam proposed to his girlfriend on stage at The X Factor bootcamp stage right after he’d been told he hadn’t made it through to Six Chair Challenge.
He asked the judges: “Can I do something before I go? Because I’m never gonna get this chance…”.
Simon then said: “You can do whatever you want…”
Sam then motioned to his girlfriend Emma Smith, and said: “Hey babe, come here”, at which point he got the ring out and said “Do I get a yes from you?”
