WATCH: the awkward moment Scott Disick told Kris Jenner he’s dating Sofia Richie

Scott Disick has been hit with more controversy than we've had hot dinners, and one of his more notable scandals of last year was his relationship with Sofia Richie - who is 15 years his junior.

Now, unless you've been living under a rock in a dark forest for the past 10 or so years, you'll probably be aware that Scott had a turbulent relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, who is mother to his three kids, and that things haven't been entirely civil between them since the split.

But Scott continues to appear on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and appears to be on good terms with Kris Jenner, Kourtney's mother.

In a trailer for an upcoming episode, the moment that Scott tells Kris about his new relationship is shown. And it's a teeny bit awks.

Kris says: "So are you dating?", to which Scott replies: "Sure" .

She then presses for more information, asking: "Are you dating one person? Just one?"

Scott then responds: "Yeah, it's something new."

Kris smiles as she says: "Are you going steady?", and Scott replies: "'I guess that's what the kids call it."

After confirming that Scott is indeed dating Sofia, Kris asks: "Wait, so how old is she?' Because I really don't know. Is she Kylie's age? 20?"

When Scott says she's 19, Kris replies: "You're 34? OK, so I was 17 and Robert was 12 years older".

Scott then tells her: "You were underage, she's not".

Kris replies: "Touché!"
