Simon Cowell regrets two BIG mistakes after watching his X Factor six chair challenge again

It’s not like Simon Cowell to make many mistakes – he has banked millions after making a success of multiple pop stars – but it seems he makes a bit of a boo-boo in tonight’s X Factor.

The music mogul got to watch his Six Chair Challenge episode before the rest of us (well, he is the boss) and tweeted to let fans know he think he’s gone wrong with his choices.

Simon has been given the Overs category to mentor and in tonight’s show we will see him whittle his contestants down to just six ahead of the judges’ houses section of the show.

However, evidently regretting something, he tweeted today: “I think I have made two big mistakes!

“And I have just watched Sunday’s episode of the X Factor 6 Chair Challenge! Gulp.”

Things can’t really be that bad though because he straight away let his followers know he was sunning himself on holiday.

He wrote: “In Cabo this weekend. Our friend’s birthday.”

Exactly what his mistakes are remains to be seen but the talent show boss will be seen giving contestant Max Stone a tough time.

Simon tells him: “I’ve never really got anything from your personality.

“Tell me something fun you’ve done in your life.”

However, Max wins back some support after an impressive performance of Bob Marley’s Turn Your Lights Down Low.

And Simon isn’t the only judge to struggle in tonight’s show – Cheryl Fernandez-Versini struggles when brother and sister Nathan and Rachel McIntosh fight for a place in her Groups category.

X Factor is on tonight at 7pm on ITV1.

Cheryl's Adam Lippes tuxedo dress may cost over £1k, but that's nothing compared to a lifetime of dry cleaning bills. Just beware of Nando's, eh Chez?

B*Witched would be soooo jealous of these denim co-ords. Rita continues to show off her risky fash sense on the red carpet

Poor Rita must've accidentally got stuck in a door or been attacked by a pack of dogs on the way to the auditions. We can think of no other possible explanation for that missing sleeve
