For some unfathomably ridiculous reason, a whole loada people get really pissed off when non-British contestants appear on telly shows like The X Factor.

Like – did they not SEE that Hungarian shadow dance of BGT 2010? We still get a tear in our eye just THINKING about it.

This year in the firing line of some viewers is Saara Aalto of The X Factor, who is from Finland, fab in every way and now favourite to win the show.

And responding to the question of whether she should win, Simon Cowell said: " I don’t mind at all. People from different countries have won Britain’s Got Talent, it doesn’t make any difference."

"It shows what we are like as a show and what the audience is like – welcoming. I like that," he continud to The Sun.

<3 Simon <3.

Saara has also been reported as saying: "The competition is about singing and good performers. It doesn’t matter where I come from."

Simon also took a swipe at Will Young (of all people).

Me-ow.

"I have respect for Ed (Balls) because anyone who can poke fun at themselves means they are a fun person.

"He didn’t take himself too seriously, unlike Will."

CRIKEY, SIMON.

The two have had a bit of bad blood ever since Will appeared on Pop Idol all those many thousands of years ago (2002).

The X Factor finalists have their celeb duet partners – and it’s gonna be EPIC. Will anything live up to Alexandra Burke and Beyonce? Or the sexual tension PACKED matt Cardle and Rihanna? PROBABLY NOT, NO, BUT HERE ARE THIS YEAR'S.

There’s apparently going to be a HUGE twist in the next series of Big Brother. It is literally ridiculous how excited we are for Big Brother. Ridiculous.

The X Factor's Matt Terry on mentor Nicole Scherzinger: 'I’ll buy her anything she wanted'. Could these two REALLY be a thing? REALL? Probably not, no.
