This *X Factor *Six Chair Challenge audition started off with imitating The Weeknd, Blackstreet and Justin Timberlake... sounds next stage worthy, right? WRONG. And the worst part is, we don't actually understand how this audition took *such *a wrong turn.
After what started with contestant Mason Noise's audition, which would have seen him in Nick Grimshaw's final six Boys - going to the Judges' Houses - turned into Simon Cowell threatening to throw Mason off the stage.
It all started when Mason stopped his audition and told the audience: "I invite you to film this, they ain't gonna throw 5,000 people out." Instantly hearing this, Simon stopped Mason from continuing and then it. got. ugly. We actually couldn't watch our TV screens it was so cringe.

Simon put the hopeful singer in his place by telling Mason: "What gives you the right to say that to them (the audience)...you're talking to me now."
Attempting to explain his bizarre reaction, Mason replied with: "Alright, I'll tell it straight.
"The first audition I watched on Saturday, people had 10 minute slots. And I went to 47 seconds."
This led to Simon telling Mason that he was "five seconds from being thrown off this stage." Before adding: "If you've got a problem just go." At which point Mason left, and we're all left a bit dumbfounded by the whole scenario.
Then it all got kind of hazzy and muffled. Mason was mumbling about getting shorter TV airtime from his previous audition, then spoke about trying to be an "artist", before claiming this behaviour was all for the purposes of entertainment.
Mason told the crowd: "I'm doing this for you. I'm doing this for entertainment. I'm doing this for artists. This is real."
With the argument getting pretty heated at this point, Simon told Mason to "shut up", Mason dropped his mic and walked off stage.
The shocked judges panel - Simon, Nick, Rita Ora and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini - were left just as confused as everyone in the studio last night.
Rita told Nick: "That's what you call the Kanye West effect."
Nick said: "He would have a chair."
While Simon told all three of his fellow judges: "I'm actually disappointed for him, because I think he's talented."
Ouch. Awkward. We don't know who we feel sorry for.
Anywho, that aside, check out who Nick DID pick as his final six Boys here!
