Simon Cowell decides to get rid of Overload Generation as Stephanie Nala is saved on tonight’s X Factor.

Stephanie, mentored by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, was part of tonight’s sing-off with Overload Generation. Both acts fighting for a place to stay on the ITV show.

Although Blonde Electra got a straight boot from the talent show, Stephanie and Overload Generation, receiving the next lowest votes, had to battle it out with a sing-off.

The video above shows Stephanie’s poor attempt to keep her position in the competition and although Overload Generation weren’t much better, it was quite a tough one to call.

Despite this, Overload Generation got the final boot and Simon Cowell, with some remorse for Louis Walsh having both his acts being sent out, said: “"It was quite obvious blondie and blondie were going to leave. They weren't going to last long. I wasn't surprised about Overload [Generation].

"I watch the show back when I go home, and sometimes things sound good in the studio and really bad when you watch it at home.

"They were one of the few acts that didn't sound good when I played it back, so I wasn't surprised in the slightest."

During tonight’s show Simon added, right before deciding to eliminate OG, that he couldn’t put through an act that he had absolutely no belief in.

Ouch, that’s gotta hurt. Now, Louis is somewhere in a corner crying.
