Simon Cowell wants to bring back Celebrity X Factor – YES please!

It’s reported Simon Cowell hopes to bring back a celebrity version of the X Factor.  We personally think would be absolutely amazing.

The last time this happened was back in 2006 when there was X Factor: Battle Of The Stars, which featured Chris Moyles, Rebbeca Loos and Gillian McKeith.

If you don't remember it was actually quite painful to watch but at the same time, it was kind of AMAZING.

Sadly, the makers of the show didn’t feel the same and it was scrapped, but now, Simon wants it back, telling the star:

“We tried the whole X Factor Celebrity show one year but it was a nightmare. I kind of think it would be an idea to try it again. Maybe for Text Santa…”

Text Santa is the ITV charity appeal which gives to numerous charities around the country – they’ve already lined up George Clooney to take a starring role in Downton Abbey as part of the fundraising.

We think singing celebrities could raise even more. We are praying this happens.

Simon went on to say how he felt this year’s competition was more open than last year’s show.

“Last year, the minute I saw the show it was just a one-horse race. I mean no one was going to beat that girl,” he explained.

“I know who has gone through this year and I think it is going to be a proper competition again. I think people are going to be more invested in the contestants this year than last year.”

We’d be even more interested if they were famous…
