Sinitta feels like “mother” towards X Factor’s Jake Sims after naked picture leak

Sinitta has appointed herself a new and rather unique role on the X Factor – the star says she feels like a “mother of the show” after Stereo Kicks’ Jake Sims’ naked picture leak.

Leaf-wearing singer Sinitta attempted to discuss the nude photo scandal on Sunday night’s Xtra Factor but was quickly shut down by show host Sarah Jane Crawford.

Sinitta said: “As a mother of the show, I thought I should check them out.”

It’s unclear whether the ‘80s pop star did in fact see the snaps but news of the leak appears to have made her more protective over the programme’s stars.

A naked selfie of Jake, which cannot be published as it was taken when he was 16 or 17 years old, was leaked last week.

And while he was mortified when the picture surfaced, he now sees the funny side and is able to laugh it off with his bandmates.

He told The Sun: “I was young and stupid when I posted that picture. It’s bad enough when you send a picture to someone and they leak it but I’ve no one but myself to blame.

“It was embarrassing and I was worried it would affect the band negatively.

“But most of the guys just high-fived me and the fans commenting just said, ‘Impressive.’

“Joking aside, people should know that if they take these pictures they can get out there.”
