Sophie Kasaei has reportedly split from her boyfriend Jay Bigz during filming of the new series of hit MTV show Geordie Shore.
Sophie left the show in series 19 in dramatic scenes which saw her leave a letter for her fellow Geordies explaining she wanted to focus on her relationship with Jay.
She clearly couldnât stay away for long, and reportedly returned to film series 20 with Jay in tow. But mixing business and pleasure didnât work out for the couple, with a source close to Jay explaining the pair split up a few weeks ago.
âJay ended things with Sophie a few weeks ago,â they told The Sun.
"It just wasn't working out between them and he wasn't happy in the relationship anymore. Sophie tried to change things between them but he was adamant they should end it.
"She's obviously seemed pretty upset but she's moving on, Jay hasn't got ill feeling towards her."
Sophie isnât the only OG cast member to have returned for series 20, with James Tindale, who hasnât appeared for a whopping 10 seriesâ, is also making his comeback.
âIn the past I have been a very, very toned down person so this time I went in no f*cks given, done what I want, said what I wanted,â he said.
âThis time I am just me. I was the only single lad in there so I did what I wanted.â
Jamesâs long term relationship with girlfriend Kate Thorne broke down ahead of filming, so he and Sophie are sure to have had some radge nights on the âToon.
âI didn't expect to do any more Geordie Shore. I thought that time in my life had pretty much come and gone,â he continued.
âI've been single for a while now and enjoying that and making the most of it so when I did get a call if I wanted to go back it fitted in with my schedule and I thought why not? I'm single."
