Well, this is meta: Sophie Kasaei tweeted throughout her final episode of Geordie Shore, marking her regret at being kicked off the show following an alleged racist remark.

Sophie was axed from the show back in July, with The Sun reporting she was asked to leave the house![] after being really racist.

And last night’s episode saw the Geordie Shore geordies wake to realise their friend was gone.

“Sophie’s not in her bed,” howay’d new girl Marnie Simpson. “What the [FLIP]?”

Meanwhile, Holly Hagan – celebrating her 21st birthday – found a note from Sophie explaining that she had to leave.

“Hi big [SWEAR WORD],” the note read. “So sorry I’m not there on the day of your birth. I’ve had to leave for a bit to sort something – I don’t know when I’ll be back. I’m gutted I’ll miss out on your big day. Please look after Marnie and play nice.” > >

Holly said: “I can’t believe that she’s actually left and she’s left on my birthday, which must mean there’s something seriously wrong, because I know how excited she was.”

“You can imagine how hard it is watching us have fun![] without me @hollygshore @CharlotteGShore haha #HateBeingLeftOut,” Sophie later tweeted. “Really hope they don't have a good time without me haha.”

An MTV spokesperson confirmed that Sophie would not be returning to the house, pending an investigation into her massive alleged racism.

“After a recent incident, Sophie Kasaei was immediately removed from the current production of Geordie Shore pending further investigation into alleged offensive behaviour,” a statement said.

"MTV and Lime Pictures have now taken the decision that it is not appropriate for Sophie to return to the show and will be reiterating to the remaining cast members that offensive behaviour will not be tolerated."
