In the bottom two were Lauren Platt and Stereo Kicks who faced each other in the sing-off.
This meant Ben Haenow, Fleur East and Andrea Faustini were safe for another week.
The ITV show’s host, Dermot O’Leary spoke to the judges for words of wisdom for the two acts in the sing-off.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini said: "I think Lauren has to take her back to that bedroom before she was on the show.”
Mel B told Dermy: “you’ve got to believe in yourself and do you”.
After they both sang, Louis Walsh voted Lauren to leave and Mel B voted Lauren.
Cheryl, who is Lauren’s mentor, voted Stereo Kicks.
Simon Cowell had the deciding vote and it was visibly evident he found it extremely difficult to choose.
The music mogul sent Stereo Kicks home which meant it then when to deadlock.
It was then decided that after the lowest public vote, Stereo Kicks was booted off in the quarter-finals.
The Stereo Kicks boys spoke to Dermot after and said: “We’re going to stay together and thank you for the opportunity.
"Every act is amazing, it was hard tonight, we’ll keep going.”
