Are you a fan of The Voice? Well, you know that bloke Stevie McCrorie who’s been singing on the show and stuff? He’s only gone and won it!

The Scottish fireman, 30, was crowned the winner of the BBC talent contest on Saturday night, beating opera singer Lucy O’Byrne, 23, to the top spot.

The lovely chap looked completely stunned as he was announced as the champ.

He said: “I’m so lost for words right now. I can’t thank everyone enough for doing this for me. I never thought this was possible.”

Stevie’s debut single Lost Stars went on sale at midnight and he’s ready to head into the studio and start recording some hits.

He said: “After tonight it gets down to business, the single is going to be out at midnight. Everybody that has voted for me, just go and buy it.”

The other two finalists Sasha Simone and Emmanuel Nwamadi were eliminated earlier in the evening.

Congratulations, Stevie!
