With many of the nation's favourite TV shows being postponed or cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, many thought this year's series of popular BBC show Strictly Come Dancing wouldn't go ahead in 2020, but bosses have defied the odds.
After confirming Strictly would be taking place in the Autumn, with many social-distancing measures set to be in place, the first THREE celebrities for this year's show have been revealed.

Phillip Schofield
This Morning host Phillip Schofield was reportedly top of bosses' wish list and is said to have been offered a big money deal to be part of the show's first ever same-sex pairing after coming out as gay earlier this year.A representative for Schofe denied he was in talks for the show but will a few months left until Strictly hits our screens, could he be persuaded to sign up?

Love Island star rumoured for Strictly as 'reality star ban is lifted'
Popular judge Craig Revel Horwood told Best magazine that the celebrity contestants will isolate at a hotel for two weeks before filming starts, adhering to quarantine guidelines. He explained the situation further, telling the publication, "The rule is the dancer can go back to their home, and the celeb to either their home or a hotel."
Craig also revealed that the show will likely see some guest judges, and added, "Desperate times call for desperate measures. We’re lucky to be getting Strictly on the road at all. People need Strictly – and it’s happening – come hell or high water."
With the first three names now confirmed, more famous faces are expected to be announced in the coming few days.
