We can probably all agree that Ed Balls' dance to Gangnam Style blew everyone's socks off (not literally) during Strictly Come Dancing at the weekend.

Say what ya like about the MP turned Strictly SENSATION, but you can't deny it was bloody good telly.

But a whole load of people have claimed that Ed shouldn't have got this far in the competition and dismissed him as a joke, which makes us :(.

heat caught up with Ed to ask how he feels about the haterz saying he's turned Strictly into a joke.

He told us: "I just shrug my shoulders. I’m a novice who tries really hard. There have been acts in the past who have been a joke but we’ve never tried to do that. If we did Gangnam Style just for a laugh then we would be failing. It might not be brilliant but it’s the best I can do. We would never sacrifice dance content simply for the laugh."

He told us: "The other day, I settled a big case for tens of millions of pounds in the morning, drafted a very difficult order, then arrived at rehearsals and the first thing Oksana said was: 'Now listen, when you kiss the cow, make sure you kiss the cow properly.' So…"
