Jay McGuiness on his plans after Strictly Come Dancing – they don’t sound much fun…

Jay McGuiness is favourite to win tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing, so you might think he’d have some big plans after his possible triumph.

But it seems that, aside from the show’s tour, he’s just going to be job hunting.

The singer, who was previously a member of The Wanted, has no plans for the future after taking some time out following his band’s split.

On his plans for after the BBC series, he told the Daily Mirror: “I’d had a year-and-a-half of just sort of having fun and I want to do something good but I still don’t know what that is.

“Basically, after the tour I’m seeking work.”

However, despite coming so far on Strictly, Jay is still modest about the very real possibility he’ll win.

He said: “When you start to think, ‘it’s possible I could win the Glitterball,’ as the weeks go on, you realise that’s redundant.

“It’s the experience of the show and what you want to do is everything you can get from it.”
