Dancing fever hit the nation this week as Strictly bosses started to reveal a number of famous faces set to appear on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, but it seems fans of the show have been left majorly disappointed.

At the time of publication, eight 'famous faces' have been confirmed for the show, including Katie Piper, Faye Tozer, Danny John-Jules, Joe Sugg, Vick Hope, Graeme Swann, Dr Ranj Singh and Stacey Dooley, leaving fans a little bit underwhelmed.

Taking to Twitter to express their disappointment at this year's line-up so far, many viewers said they were 'unimpressed', with many asking who some of the celebrities were.

Despite the initial disappointment from viewers, it seems this year's already confirmed contestants cannot wait for the new series to begin.

Katie Piper, who was the first star confirmed by bosses, took to Twitter to express her excitement at being on the show. She wrote, Thank you for all your lovely messages. I’m super excited but very nervous about being a contestant on this years @bbcstrictly it’s going to be a challenge but everyone who knows me knows I love a challenge so here goes... a new chapter in my life! #strictly2018' [sic]
