Strictly Come Dancing’s Oti Mabuse dubs her partner Anthony Ogogo an “arsehole”

Anthony Ogogo's Strictly Come Dancing partner Oti Mabuse has slammed the Olympic boxer; calling him an "arsehole" while training with him.

Speaking to The Sun, Anthony revealed: "When we got partnered up I said to Oti, ‘Did you like me when you first met me?’ and she said, ‘No, not really, you look like an arsehole’.

“I was like, ‘Do I have an arsehole look about me?’"

Anthony, who scooped up a bronze medal during London 2012, added that they "didn't make friends" before they were picked, either. Yikes. The live show starts on Friday 25 September, so they better buddy up quickly, otherwise this is going to be mega-awks.

The 26 year old added that his dance partner had been screaming at him in German to keep him in line. Is there anything more terrifying than someone screaming at you in German?

Anthony signed up for the show after his fiancee wanted him to improve his dance moves for their wedding day.

He explained: “My fiancee is really supportive, I think what she’s looking forward to the most is me not embarrassing her on the dance floor when we get married!”

And the costumes?

“This is a bit camp but you could either think you’re too cool for it and then you look a bit silly, or just dive in head-first and try to have a good time."

“We say what type of look we want. They could give me anything and I would just wear it.”
