We're all super excited about the live-action Aladdin reboot starring Will Smith, ever since he posted that first look behind the scenes, and then the first look at the artwork. And now, it's been revealed that one of this year's contestants from The Apprentice will be starring alongside the Hollywood actor in the upcoming film!

That's right, The Apprentice's own law graduate and part-time amateur actor, Kurran Pooni, has revealed in an interview with Metro.co.uk that he is set to appear in the new film, and even got to meet the famous actor saying, "He’s cool, he’s really nice. He really made an effort to say hello to everyone."

In the interview, Kurran also revealed the part that he plays in Aladdin saying, "I recently did a bit of work on Aladdin. Will Smith is the genie, Guy Ritchie is the director – I’m a Palace Guard. It was an amazing experience."

SPOILER ALERT

As fans of The Apprentice will know, Kurran Pooni hasn't hidden his passion for trying his hand at acting, even taking a role in the Comic Book episode where he 'acted' for the augmented reality cover of his team's comic. However, as we found out in yesterday's episode, Kurran was fired from the series.

Meanwhile, Will Smith has been teasing fans on social media. Last month, the actor posted the first look at the reboot saying, 'LEMME OUT!! Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE! :-) #aladdin' [sic]

In the new Aladdin film, Will Smith plays the role of the Genie, which was originally portrayed by the late Robin Williams in the animated version back in 1992.

He first caused a lot of excitement when he posted the first photos from behind the scenes, posting a selfie with his new 'family'. Along with Will, actors Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott and Marwan Kenzar, playing Aladdin, Jasmine and Jafar could be seen in the selfie which was captioned, 'I’m over here gettin my Genie on. Here we go!'. [sic]
