TOWIE cast’s Ibiza flight grounded after passenger got Tasered by police

The TOWIE lot don't have the best luck with flights, do they? Earlier this summer a plane carrying James 'Arg' Argent, Ricky Rayment, Lauren Pope and Diags refused to take off because it was carrying too much weight, then just last month Arg sparked a missing person's alert after failing to turn up in time to catch his flight.

So you'd think their producers would have better sense than to book them all on the same flight to Ibiza, right?

Unfortunately, that's just what happened – and, of course, something went wrong when their plane out of Gatwick had to turn back because of technical difficulties.

According to the Sun, Arg texted his girlfriend Lydia Bright to say, 'We were halfway from London but had to turn back because of technical s***'.

But when they landed back in London, one of the passengers on their flight started kicking off and had to be Tasered by police.

TOWIE star Elliott Wright explained how his girlfriend Chloe Sims was terrified.

"There was someone screaming in the terminal and police Tasered them. My Chloe said things couldn't get any worse. She is a nervous flyer and is beside herself."

But that wasn't the end of it – the TOWIE lot then had to get on a coach to Luton to catch another flight out to the Spanish island, and at that time of the day you're looking at serious delays on the M25.

Anyway, they eventually managed to get to Ibiza and you can catch all their holiday exploits in the two-part special The Only Way is Ibiza over on ITV's brand new channel ITVBe on 8 October.
