TOWIE’s Arg APOLOGISES to Gemma Collins for stringing her along: “I took advantage of you”

James ‘Arg’ Argent apologised to an emotional Gemma Collins on last night’s TOWIE for manipulating her and stringing her along.

The 27-year-old reality star made his second reappearance on the ITVBe show since being discharged from rehab after treatment for his drug problem.

Turning up at Gemma’s house with a massive bunch of flowers, Arg told her how sorry he was for his past actions against her.

“I want to say how sorry I am,” he said. “I needed someone to look after me and I took advantage of how much you cared about me.

“Looking back on it I shouldn’t have strung you along. I hope you can forgive me and understand.”

His ex replied: “I’m crying because I’m so happy for you that you’re in this place.

“You've made my day,” she added.

Gemma, who dated Arg back in 2012 before dumping him with the immortal line, “You ain’t EVER gonna get this candy”, has had a rough few months, having quit her I*’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!* stint after a mere three days and having her house burgled just last month.

She made no reference to her teary reunion with Arg on Twitter this morning, though she did retweet this message from Arg:
