TOWIE’s Danielle Armstrong FINALLY breaks up with James Lock – just as he’s about to PROPOSE

TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong told long-term boyfriend James Lock that they were over on last night’s The Only Way Is Marbs – just as he was about to propose to her.

In a really emotional scene, a sobbing Dani told Lockie that it was time to call it a day as she “can’t remember a good thing you’ve done for me”.

Over a not-so romantic meal at a Marbella restaurant, Dani asked: “What positives have we got?”

“I think we get on really well,” Lockie tried. “I’ve held my hands up – I do know that I get stressed out sometimes and I’m sorry for that.”

“But all you can say is ‘I’m sorry’,” Dani pointed out.

“I know. Obviously I need to do something about that, don’t I.”

Dani then broke down in tears, saying: “I just feel like we can’t be together right now. I just don’t see how it can work. I’m so down, you’ve pushed me so far, to a point where I can’t see a way out of it, James.”

He replied: “So what are you saying – you want to call it a day then? I respect if you don’t want to be with me and we’ll just part ways and I’ll wish you all the best. I don’t hate you. I’ll be fine.”

Dani then got up and left in tears.

She's since tweeted to apologise for how emotional she got last night, writing:

However, it looks like James is still holding out hope that this isn't the end of them:
