We're just a few weeks away from the eagerly anticipated Toy Story 4, but it has now emerged that a fan favourite character from Toy Story 3 will NOT be returning! It's been nearly a decade since the last film, and whilst many of the favourites will be returning, it's been revealed that Michael Keaton's Ken will not.

Batman actor Michael played the voice role of Ken in Toy Story 3, released in 2010, but recently it's been revealed that he will not be returning for the fourth installment. Speaking to Comicbook.com the film's director Josh Cooley said, "Ken is not in this film. He's back at Sunnyside [Day Care]."

Despite Ken being a new character in Toy Story 3, he became popular with fans of the franchise, however producer Jonas Rivera explained that whilst they love Ken as a character, there was too much going on in this film. "We love Ken too, [there's] a lot of characters," he told the press, saying it was a hard choice over which characters to keep in.

Frozen 2

The first Frozen film was one of the most popular children's films of the decade, so it's no surprise that a sequel has been in the works since its release in 2013. Bringing back Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel as sisters Anna and Elsa, Frozen 2 will be released in the UK on 22nd November 2019.

Earlier this year, the full length Toy Story 4 trailer was released showing what's in store for fans. The two and a half minute-long video revealed that Bo Peep is pretty essential to the plot, have a watch below.

Bo, who has previously been missing from Toy Story 3, has now been kitted out in a fantastic new outfit. She's ditched her old puffed out dress and bonnet for a new playsuit and bow, complete with a superhero cape!

Toy Story 4 will see Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Annie Potts and Joan Cusack reprise their characters for yet another adventure and we can't for it to arrive. Toy Story 4 will be released in cinemas on 21st June 2019.
