The internet pranksters behind the Honey G stage invasion during last night’s X Factor live show have spoken out after the incident.
The group, called Troll Station, shared a video from behind the scenes on their YouTube channel.
In the clip, which was filmed from the studio audience, the crowd can be heard cheering and screaming as aspiring rapper Honey takes to the stage.
A few seconds in, a number of men can be seen running down onto the stage and surrounding the contestant before they are chased by security guards.
Some people behind the camera can he heard shouting "Troll Station" at the top of their voices.
The judges can be seen looking on in disbelief as other audience members hold their hands up to their mouths in shock.
The man filming in the audience asks another person: "Hold on, there was, was there a policeman running after them?"
Another man told the Troll Station cameraman: "It was a fake jacket, not really the police."
The video then features a number of police vehicles with their sirens roaring and their blue lights flashing outside on the street as the same cameraman asks some other audience members outside the studio what was going on.
They confirmed the police were there because of the incident involving Honey G on stage.
The police can then be seen talking to another man behind the camera, explaining that people inside the studio could have thought they were trying to harm Honey G.
The Troll Station members can then be seen jumping around in celebration outside the studio as they flash T-shirts with their logo on.
One of the members then looks at the camera, claiming that he had "arrested" Honey G for "impersonating a singer".
Luckily he wasn't a real policeman and Honey G had committed no real crime...
