Rumours were completely rife last week as to why Sherif Lanre was booted out of the Love Island villa, with many fans begging ITV bosses to reveal exactly which 'rule' the 20-year-old had broken.
After much speculation online, Sherif returned to the UK and shared his story, revealing bosses chose to remove him from the villa when he accidentally kicked fellow Islander Molly-May Hague in the groin.
So when Sherif joined heat Radio's Jordan Lee on this week's episode of heat's Love Island: Under the Duvet, we were keen to find out more! 👀
Recalling the moment, Sherif revealed, "I was mucking about with Molly-Mae, and I accidentally caught her in a particular place, and I went on to joke about it a crude way apparently, but yeah, that's it."
Despite the drama, it appears Sherif and Molly-Mae are still friends. He said, "Me and Molly-Mae are good, I left the villa on good terms with her."
Sherif, who was taken out of the villa in the early hours of the morning by bosses, also revealed he had no idea anything was going down, saying "I was a bit disorientated, I'd just woken up. I wasn't really with it, so I didn't really give much emotion on that part."
During the episode, Sherif also opened up about how Love Island producers dealt with his exit.
Sherif admitted he thinks it would have been 'tricky' for ITV to explain the situation, and said it was certainly better coming from him.
However, he does think they should have done something. He told Jordan, "It would be a bit tricky for ITV to explain something like that. It was better coming from me. I think they should have done something, I don't know what it would have been but I don't think their method of handling things would have been best for me or them in the long run.
"I'm glad I came out and told my story."
