So someone leaked the trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and we got VERY excited. Now Warner Bros. have shown us the whole thing and we LOVE it. For two reasons: 1, that the graphics look epic and 2, because Ben Affleck actually looks like he’s going to play a good Batman.
After the leak on Thursday, Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder released a HD version of the trailer on Friday evening
The trailer wasn’t due for release until Monday 20 April so WB, the studio that produced the film, went on the offensive and shut down YouTube videos. (We don’t know why, this wasn’t going to stop the leaked video from being leaked, but what evs. Especially because the leak was taped off of a movie screen and the captions on it appear to be in Portuguese.)
The start of the leaked trailer actually shows the trailer's end, suggesting it's playing on a loop while movie theater employees check it for sound and picture.
So in the HD version people don’t seem to trust Superman (Henry Cavill) and Batman (Ben Affleck) is prepared to stand up for the people in “danger”.
A convincing Batman can be seen telling a floating Superman: "Tell me, do you bleed?" And as the trailer closes Batman, continues, "You will.”
It’s all very edgy and dark and if it’s not good we’ll eat our hats. What do you think?
