The Voice judges fearful Rita Ora may quit show after secretly sobbing behind the scenes

During last week’s semi-final of The Voice, Rita Ora hobbled on stage in some fluffy platforms with bobbles attached but it seems that might be the last we see of her funky footwear on the BBC show – it’s already feared she’ll quit the panel after just one series.

Rita and her fellow judges wrapped the 2015 series last night and saw Scottish fireman Stevie McCrorie announced as the winner.

And her fellow panellists will.i.am and Tom Jones are fearful she's ready to quit despite her helping to bring in hit ratings this season.

Rita is said to have broken down in tears behind the scenes after failing to get any of her acts through to the final and it’s thought she may have found the pressure too much.

Crooner Tom told the Daily Star Sunday: “Rita was gutted, it was a tough thing for a new coach to go through. I felt sorry for her because she’s done a great job.

“As soon as it happened I thought, ‘My God, I hope this doesn’t put her off.’ I’m hoping it hasn’t made her want to go.”

Rita was the first ever judge not to have any singers in the final after a rule change this year meant there wasn’t a competitor from each judges’ group in the last round.

Will said: “It’s not fair. I don’t like the new rule. I wouldn’t allow a coach not to have someone from her team in the final.”

He added: “I hope she comes back. She is the best for multiple reasons.”
