Imagine, your wedding day is fast approaching, you’re prepping the venue, guest list, catering, music and trying to find the perfect wedding dress, suit or lovely gown that’s not quite so lovely that you’ll accidentally upstage the bride.
But what if you had a much bigger and more important thing to source for the big day? Namely a best man. Well, that’s the situation Doug Harris (Josh Gad - yep, that’s the guy that voiced Olaf in Frozen) finds himself in, after he gets engaged to his ideal woman (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting).
Enter Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart) who runs Best Men Inc - basically a rental service for best bros, and it’s their task to convince Doug’s wife-to-be and family, that he has a bunch of friends that are simply AWESOME.
Doug now has seven - that’s right SEVEN - new pals to fake friendships with, two weeks before he gets married. The seven guys are a bunch of oddballs, and soon, Doug doesn’t want to let them go, but will they stick around when the money runs out?
Expect crass jokes about The Goonies, jokes about having extra balls and a grandma getting set on fire. Yep, FLAMING GRANDMA. It’s basically American Pie, meets Wedding Crashers, meets Hitch. And it looks like a helluva lot of fun.
