It's been a whopping 12 years since Georgia, The Ace Gang and 'Sex-God' Robbie hit our screens in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. How has that happened?! It's still perfect hangover film material (it's on Netflix, FYI).
While we're still reminiscing about the golden days of 2008, the cast have moved on to bigger and better things since being propelled to fame and, SPOILER ALERT, you've probably seen them on your screens already as they've bagged some major roles over the years.
Check out where the Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging cast are now:
Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging Cast: Where Are They Now?
Georgia Groome (Georgia) then
We all saw a bit of ourselves in Georgia didn't we? During the film, she spent most of her time hiding from her cringe-inducing parents, lusting after sex god Robbie and messing about with her mates. Considering the movie was over ten years ago, she's kept her baby face...
Georgia Groome (Georgia) now
Georgia's still big into her acting and is living it up in London with boyfriend Rupert Grint (yep, that one). Since her rise to fame, she's played Emily in BBC sitcom Up The Women, a show about group of feisty Suffragettes, and has also starred in Double Date, a "horror comedy".The 28-year-old also gave birth to her first child, a baby daughter, in May 2020.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Robbie) then
Ooft. There's no forgetting those eyes. Robbie had the attention of Georgia, Wet Lindsay and pretty much everyone watching the movie at home. Lead singer of band The Stiff Dylans, he even wrote Ultraviolet, a song about Georgia. Cute. Wait 'til you see how much he's changed...
Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Robbie) now
WOAH, we did not see that coming. Aaron's made quite the transformation and may no longer be a fresh-faced teen heartthrob but he's still an absolute fitlord. He's amassed a career just as impressive as his beard too, after starring in Kick Ass and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Good work, Azza.Aaron married film director Sam Taylor-Johnson in 2012 and they share two daughters.
Eleanor Tomlinson (Jas) then
Georgia's bestie Jas was on the hunt for a BF. She bagged Robbie's fit brother, Tom, and was smitten for the rest of the film. Now, she looks VERY, very different, and has opted for a big change in genre...
Eleanor Tomlinson (Jas) now
WOW. Goodbye Goldilocks. Hello red-headed hottie. Jas has gone from quiet schoolgirl to feisty wife, Demelza Poldark, in Poldark, obvs. The 28-year-old has also strutted her stuff in Jack the Giant Slayer and The White Queen_._ Most recently, she starred in Netflix rom-com Love Wedding Repeat. Keep slaying, girl.
Georgia Henshaw (Rosie) then
Probs the craziest of The Ace Gang, Rosie was best known for being the first to get a boyfriend - aka lovable Swede, Sven. She was more than happy to share her snogging tips with her ever-grateful pals - Georgia included. Nice one, Ro.
Georgia Henshaw (Rosie) now
You'll probably recognise Georgia from playing JJ's love interest in the fourth series Skins_,_ as well as appearances in Being Human, Waterloo Road and Call the Midwife
Alan Davies (Georgia's Dad) then
Georgia's dad caused a whole load of chaos in the movie. Poor old Georgia was convinced he was going to pack up and leave for New Zealand, so begged him to stay. Luckily for her, he decided to remain at home Brighton and continue embarrassing her whenever possible. Ready to see him with new grey locks?
Alan Davies (Georgia's Dad) now
We hate to say it, but Alan's aged a fair bit. He's pretty hard to miss these days, and you'll spot him as a regular panelist on QI, or hosting Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled.
Karen Taylor (Georgia's mum) then
Remember this face? Georgia notices mum, Connie, has upped the giggling and low-cut tops and quickly becomes convinced she's having an affair with builder, Jem. Connie comes up trumps in the end, though, organizing a party in a Brighton club (we're pretty sure it's Liquid) for Georgia's birthday #teengoals.
Karen Taylor (Georgia's mum) now
Hey sexy momma! Since playing embarrassing mum, Connie, in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging_,_ Karen has starred in BBC comedy Big School, and was also in the TV series Father Figure.
Steve Jones (Jem) then
Welsh hunk Steve Jones was a welcome addition to our screens ten years ago. Playing Jem, the builder who Georgia was convinced her mum was in love with, he turned out to be a goodie in the end. Steve, we never doubted you.
Steve Jones (Jem) now
Hot then, still hot now. Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging was Steve's first acting role but he was already all over our TVs after presenting T4. Now, he's 43, and has continued to make TV worth watching. Currently, he leads the presenting team on Channel 4's Formula 1 coverage and even hosted the first season of The X Factor USA. Who knew?
BRB, whilst we go listen to Ultraviolet on repeat.
Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging was a fantastic coming of age film released in 2008 and was based on the iconic novels of writer Louise Rennison. If you need a reminder, or you wonder what you've missed out on over a DECADE ago, check out the trailer below.
