Ever since the rebooted version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? last year with former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson at the helm, viewers have been eagerly awaiting a winner of the top prize. Which is, of course, one million pounds...
However, rather shockingly, no WWTBAM contestant has even made it to the final round of questions on the show - not only in the new version of the show, but since 2006. That's 12 YEARS since the last time a contestant made it to the final question.
But that's all about to change in tonight's episode of the show (4th March), with an English teacher from Birmingham leaving Jeremy open-mouthed as he gets to the final round of questioning.
Although ITV have understandably decided against revealing whether he will take home the jackpot, insiders have revealed that it is a "fantastic game" and that the contestant struggles with the ÂŁ2,000 question and has to use a lifeline to continue.
Jeremy Clarkson reportedly says, "Well, I can hardly believe it. I didnât actually believe Iâd say it but Iâm going to..." as the question is apparently to do with British politics.

Of course, there was also Charles Ingram in 2001, but he was found to have cheated with his wife and their friend, lecturer Tecwen Whittock, who coughed in the audience every time Charles read out a correct answer. He was later convicted of fraud.
