Picture this: it’s 2008. You've got the girls round, one of them's crimping your hair to perfection, another caking on that fuchsia blusher, while you choose which combo of baby-doll dress and oversized waste belt will lure in your shaggy-haired, emo-fringed crush.
Speaking of shaggy-haired, emo-fringed crushes, at some point in the night you and the galdem will probably whack on a DVD (this is pre-Netflix, obvs) it will inevitably be Wild Child (it was actually law that you had to watch Wild Child at every girls' night in 2008) and you'll probably faint at the mere sight of Alex Pettyfer swanning around that lavish AF boarding school.
Oh, how we've missed that eclectic bunch of middle-class school girls and their glossy American Queen Bee, Poppy Moore played by Emma Roberts.
And in case you were wondering what the epic girl gang have been up to since their Wild Child days, it turns out they've all had pretty successful careers, appearing in many a major (and sometimes questionable) movie over the years.
CHECK OUT the cast of Wild Child - where are they now?
Wild Child: Where are they now?
Emma Roberts (Poppy Moore) then
Admit it, you wanted to be preppy princess Poppy Moore in her Abbey Mount days and, we're not gonna lie, we kinda still do now.
Emma Roberts now
After her hilarious We're the Millers role and then literally channeling all of our inner bitch and wannabe sorority queen as Chanel Oberlin in FOX's Scream Queens, Emma Roberts appeared in not one but FOUR seasons of American Horror Story. She even dated her co-star Evan Peters and they got engaged but it didn't last and she welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Rhodes, with her fit boyfriend actor Garrett Hedlund earlier this year.
Alex Pettyfer (Freddie Kingsley) then
You had a crush on him, your mum had a crush on him, for gods sake your dad probably had a crush on him too. Safe to say we all enjoyed the go to 'hot boy' role filler of the noughties.
Alex Pettyfer now
Now 31, he's toned it down a bit from his 'hot boy' days, starring in indie thrillers and biography films. After dating a bunch of hot models he's currently settled with wife Toni Garrn after they got married last year (we know, sad times).
Juno Temple (Drippy) then
The botched eyebrow dye situation, sneaking off to raid the fridges in the middle of the night and a complete inability to handle her drink. Drippy is basically us in our teenage years, tbh.
Juno Temple now
Unsurprisingly, since Wild Child was released in 2008, Juno's had an insanely successful film career, starring in St Trinian's, The Dark Knight Rises, Magic Mike, Maleficent and Black Mass (alongside the likes of Johnny Depp).
Sophie Wu (Kiki) then
Kiki was definitely the friend whose homework you'd copy five minutes before the start of class.
Sophie Wu now
Two years after Wild Child, Sophie starred in Kick-Ass alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson. She's also appeared in some of our fave TV shows including Fresh Meat and Black Mirror.
Georgia King (Harriet) then
She may have ben totally horrendous, but we kinda felt sorry for snobby head girl Harriet Bentley. Everything was going fine for her until Poppy came along, caused chaos in her corridors, upstaged her at the school disco and stole her man. Plus she exposed her unfortunate SULA (sweaty upper lip alert, fyi)
Georgie King now
Georgia has had a very successful and varied TV career since Wild Child. She's starred in a number of adapted period dramas including Jane Eyre and Little Dorrit, as well as American sitcom The New Normal. Georgia has also landed roles in films such as Tormented, Chalet Girl and One Day.
Linzey Cocker (Josie) then
Josie was absolute box-fringe goals back in '08.
Linzey Cocker now
Since playing Josie in Wild Child, she's starred in Waterloo Road, the BBC comedy series White Gold and Our Girl.
Kimberley Nixon (Kate) then
2008 was a bit of a year for Kimberley. Not only was she an exemplary student at Abbey Mount, but (in a vastly different role) she got to snog Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Slaggy Lindsay in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging.
Kimberley Nixon now
Kimberley went on to play foul-mouthed and irresponsible Josie in Fresh Meat.

Victoria Scone is the star of RuPaul's Drag Race UK and here's four reasons why
Emma Roberts is notoriously private when it comes to her dating life, but the Wild Child queen revealed she'd welcomed her first child earlier this year.
"Thank you 2020 for getting one thing right ☀️ Our bright light Rhodes Robert Hedlund," she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her cuddling the baby boy she shares with her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund.
The actress has previously spoken out about her privacy, telling Cosmopolitan, "I never want to talk about relationships I’m in or that are ending or have ended.
"It’s hard enough to be with someone by yourself, let alone with an audience. Growing up is hard. Sometimes it makes me sad that I can’t have a private moment.
"Because of Twitter and Instagram, there’s a whole other element where everybody can comment on what you’re doing and no one knows the real story. That’s hard."
