We hung out with fabulous Frankie Essex and our lovely sofa buddy Carrie this week for an X Factor extravaganza. Here's what they were looking forward to...
This week over in the world of The X Factor the remaining contestants battled it out singing versions of Queen or Michael Jackson. There were some good bits, some GREAT bits and some utterly bonkers bits. Here are our faves...
Dermot’s sexy dance
Can every single day start with Dermot O’Leary and his snake hips please? The charmer got jiggy with a bevy of hot dancers to kick off this week’s show #swoon!
Private View
When Jay James started his performance of The Show Must Go On we were treated to a private little show. The navy dude did a wee singsong to a mirror backstage before walking onto the actual stage. Massively cringe but, hey, at least he didn’t stack it on the steps!
Lauren Platt
Looking like an actual award in her glittering gold frock, Lauren gave us mega vocals singing MJ’s I’ll Be There like a proper good pro. Chezza might only have one horse left in the race but it’s a Babby Dazzler.
HE SAID IT!
Louis Walsh made our WEEK when he told Lauren Platt that she “looks like a pop star and you sing like a pop star”. HE PULLED THE CLASSIC OUT OF THE BAG. Everyone have a piece of cake to celebrate, yeah.
Cheeky Walsh
When Mel told Louis Walsh he was too ancient to roller-skate the silver fox yelled back, “You’re OLD SPICE!”
Some Girls are Aloud…
Cheryl and old band mate Nadine might have fell out this week but things are all kinds of rosy between her and Sarah Harding. We spied the blonde Girls Aloud singer sitting in the audience in front of LMFAO’s Red Foo. She got yo’ back, Chez!
Stevi tripped us ALL out
New, ahem, rock god Stevi Ritchie’s performance made Mel B and Cheryl feel like they were tripping on acid-drug-type-things. We feel ya, girls.
Prehistoric style
Cheryl’s triple dinosaur plait. SRSLY. Only she could look hot with that.
Stereo Kicks got a new member
We’ve got to admit we didn’t notice when a random member of the audience jumped on stage during Stereo Kicks’ performance because THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM. They did well to carry on, though. Bless their many socks.
Here's what Frankie Essex and Carrie thought of all the X Factor dramz this week...
