The big boss man, Simon Cowell, has a host of changes in store for this year's The X Factor, including cutting a whole three weeks' worth of live shows, which is thought to have helped new judge Rita Ora fit the competition into her recording schedule.
But that's not all: the room auditions have been ditched and arena try-outs will only take place in London and Manchester. These changes are in addition to new presenters, Caroline Flack and Olly Murs, and our other shiny new judge, Nick Grimshaw.
It has been claimed that this year's judging panel will be the most expensive yet, with both Rita and fellow newbie Grimmy being paid an estimated £1 million. Meanwhile Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will net £1.8 million and Simon Cowell gets a whopping £4.2 million. Nevertheless, Rita has been frustrated with suggestions that she ditched The Voice because of the money. Although, Simon Cowell explained she was taking part as she genuinely loves the show. Can you blame her?
A source told The Mirror: "Rita is adamant she is not moving for money. She is angry and insistent that she started as a guest judge on The X Factor and is going home. She has a new album this autumn and it all fits.
"But if it was all just about money she wouldn't be on the show and would be going around the world making millions from endorsements and more live performances."
We're sad that we're going to have less live X Factor this year, but maybe this will help pick up the pace of the show, as it's been a bit tired for the last few years.
What do you think?
