Fans are furious with Honey G after she was allowed to perform her debut single live on The X Factor last night.
Despite a winner of this year’s series not yet being announced, the rapper has already won a record deal with Simon Cowell’s label and promoted it on his show yesterday evening.
Honey took to the stage at Wembley Arena and her performance was broadcast to millions of viewers, but some were left furious.
One person tweeted: "Why oh why has Honey G been allowed to release a single before the end of the tour, no one else in the past has been allowed…"
Another person wrote: "Why does it take over a year for T_he X Factor_ winner to release something but it takes Honey G 2 weeks."
Someone else posted: "Honey G being allowed to perform tonight is a disgrace and disrespectful and unfair to the finalists."
And another person commented: "Honey G… why the hell has she performed tonight to promote her new single out on the 23rd of December going against the winner for xmas no.1."
Honey urged fans to go out and buy her song even though Matt Terry and Saara Aalto are still battling it out for the winner’s spot after 5 After Midnight were voted off last night.
But Simon Cowell is likely to be happy is has found another star for his Syco stable and Honey will be pleased she has been given such a huge platform to promote her song as she feels she has big things in her future.
After her departure from the show, she said: "I’m kind of looking to come in at the level that One Direction came in at. I know that I can create that hype.
"I just need the opportunity to be able to sell the records, get the right PR behind me, get the right team behind me and that’s really going to blow me up."
