Axed X Factor contestant Josh Brooks has spoken out after getting the boot from the show and has addressed claims he attacked his ex-girlfriend.
Josh, who was one half of duo Brooks Way with his twin brother Kyle, was suspended from the talent competition last weekend as allegations he’d beaten up his ex Amelia Clarke surfaced.
ITV bosses decided the pair could not return to the contest earlier this week as Josh faced claims he’d even broken Amelia’s nose.

And now, Josh has admitted his "volatile" relationship with Amelia did get "physical", and he has apologised.
He told The Sun on Sunday: "From the bottom of my heart, I am really, really sorry.
"My relationship with Amelia had become really volatile and toxic. We were arguing all the time, it wasn’t great and thinks got physical.
"There was one situation that got really hostile.
"I understand it is totally out of order and I’m really sorry that I didn’t walk away. I allowed things to get to that point and it’s not acceptable."
The aspiring pop star apologised for his actions and added that he felt "very guilty and ashamed".
Josh admits he struggles to deal with his emotions despite getting professional help to deal with this in the past and is planning on seeking further advice on the matter.
The singer is also sad that he let his innocent brother, who was also kicked off off The X Factor because of Josh’s actions, and his family down.
He said: "I feel bad for Kyle, I feel very sad for my nan, who has always brought us up to be well-mannered and respectful, and for my friends and family.
"I’ve let them all down and I take responsibility for that."
Josh is now determined to turn people’s opinion of him around and prove he is not a nasty person.
He said: "The most important thing now is for people to know that at heart I’m not a violent person and that I am genuinely sorry."
