Good news for Louisa Johnson! The aspiring pop star is favourite to win The X Factor this weekend and scoop the Christmas number one with her first single.
Louisa is expected to come out on top with odds of 1/5, it’s thought Reggie and Bollie will come second with odds of 9/2 and Che Chesterman is predicted to come in third place with odds of 14/1.
A William Hill spokesman said: “We think Louisa is the real star and cannot see her getting beaten.”
Meanwhile, it looks like another shake-up is in order for the show after a drop in ratings again despite the new line-up of judges this year.
Only Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini returned this series with Rita Ora replacing Mel B and Nick Grimshaw taking Louis Walsh’s place.
BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick is rumoured to be facing the axe after some viewers failed to warm to him.
A source told The Sun: “It feels like the writing has been on the wall for him. He has got better, but it’s too little too late.”
However, earlier this year, Nick claimed Simon had reassured him his job on the programme was safe.
He said: “Simon told me, ‘This is the nature of the beast – you’re in the goldfish bowl, everyone has something to say.’”
If Nick is dropped, singer and recent I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant Tony Hadley is favourite to replace him, according to Ladbrokes.
