We used to enjoy it when Dermot O’Leary skipped on stage on the X Factor on Saturday night and did that little kick of his at the front of the stage to start off the show.
So we were a little sad when we heard he was leaving the series in March this year.
But we were pleased with his replacements Olly Murs and Caroline Flack because, well, they’re pretty cute and fun.
However, it seems not everyone agrees – the hosting duo has come under fire for their lacklustre performance.
The pair presented together on spin-off show The Xtra Factor between 2011 and 2013 and viewers were big fans of their on-screen chemistry.
But some think they’ve struggled to come into their own on the main show on ITV1.
A source told the Sunday People: “Bosses have been aware of the criticism aimed at Olly and Caroline over their lack of chemistry. They were expected to inject some fun and energy but that has yet to be seen.
“We’ve seen this year’s line-up undertake a big shake-up and Olly and Caroline were considered to be a safe bet.
“But the viewers haven’t seen any of what made them such a special pairing on Xtra Factor yet.”
Caroline has also been slammed for missing some of the shows due to her commitments with Strictly Come Dancing after she won the show last year.
One person tweeted: “Has anyone seen Caroline Flack? She seems to be missing from tonight’s X Factor.”
Another wrote: “Someone should put Caroline Flack on missing persons #thexfactor.”
The source told the paper that Caroline’s commitments were made clear before she signed up to present the X Factor main show and, while some of them may have changed since, she will be there full-time for the upcoming live shows.
And despite the criticism from viewers, X Factor bosses are happy with Caroline and Olly’s work.
They said in a statement: “Olly and Caroline have been great additions to the show. We’re very happy with them and look forward to them being centre stage when presenting on the live shows at the end of the month.”

Cheryl's Adam Lippes tuxedo dress may cost over £1k, but that's nothing compared to a lifetime of dry cleaning bills. Just beware of Nando's, eh Chez?
Rita Ora
B*Witched would be soooo jealous of these denim co-ords. Rita continues to show off her risky fash sense on the red carpet
Rita Ora
Poor Rita must've accidentally got stuck in a door or been attacked by a pack of dogs on the way to the auditions. We can think of no other possible explanation for that missing sleeve

Caz doesn't half love a boyish short and shirt combo. She picked up these snakey platforms for just £52 from Toppers!
