X Factor’s Only The Young stand up for Stereo Kicks saying no members should be axed

We are currently in the year of indecisiveness when it comes to the X Factor – both Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh struggled to choose their acts when it came to the six chair challenge at bootcamp.

And Louis has since said he would ditch a couple of the eight members of Stereo Kicks, who the judges threw together after they all auditioned as solo artists, in a bid to help them win over the voting public.

However, the boys still have some fans – fellow competitors Only The Young have spoken out in support of the group, saying no members should be dropped.

They told Digital Spy: “We love the Stereo Kicks and every boy brings something different. We’re not sure why anyone would think they were splitting!”

The foursome is saying this in spite of the eight piece boyband competing in the same category as them.

They added: “This year, the competition is so high and we’re always so nervous on results day, but we’re just going to keep doing our own thing and hope that the public see that we’re something different.

“It’s literally a dream come true to be able to be on a show such as The X Factor and we’re really grateful to everyone who is voting and keeping us in.”
