This year’s X Factor contestants don’t seem to be able to keep their hands off each other.
First of all, Gifty Louise and 5 After Midnight’s Jordan Lee were said to have been growing close, and then axed contender Josh Brooks sparked rumours things were hotting up between him and Sam Lavery before it emerged she may ACTUALLY be dating Jordan’s fellow bandmate Nathan Lewis.
Oh, and lets not forget Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie who were already dating before they auditioned for the show.
But it seems things are cooling off in the series house as Nathan and Sam are not actually in a relationship.
This weekend, reports claimed the pair had been sneaking off for naughty "make-out sessions" but it has now been confirmed they are just good friends.
An insider told Mirror Online: "There isn’t anything romantic going on between Sam and Nathan."
The pair didn’t exactly do much to stop the rumours from spreading after they were spotted cuddling at Motown The Musical this week and were also seen cuddling together in a McDonald’s.
But the source insists they just mates, adding: "They are both close but are just friends."
It had been claimed they had been caught coming out of a cupboard in The X Factor house this week leaving show bosses unhappy.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: "They have been told off for it in the past few weeks, because at times it has been difficult to find them.
"When they came out of the cupboard they were dishevelled and had very guilty looks on their faces.
"A staff member even said, 'I know you’re been kissing why don’t you just admit it?'"
But it seems nothing was as it appeared...
