But according to Ladbrokes, some of the public have already made up their mind about who they think is going to bag this year’s top spot.
Fleur East, who’s singing If I Ain’t Got You by Alicia Keys and A Fool In Love by Tina Turner, has been tipped to win this year, racing ahead of former favourite Andrea Faustini with odds of 11/10.
Andrea (singing Hero by Enrique Iglesias and Chandelier by Sia) and Ben Haenow (singing Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran and Come Together by The Beatles) are just behind her, with joint odds of 4/1.
Stereo Kicks – who’ll be performing Run by Snow Patrol and Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars – are lagging slightly behind but it’s Lauren Platt the bookies are worried about.
Lauren is now favourite to leave the competition this weekend and, if she does leave, poor Cheryl will have lost all of her acts.
The 17-year-old will be performing Don’t You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia and* Clarity* by Zedd, so let’s hope she smashes them for her chance to stay in.
The first songs set to be performed were chosen by the public, while the second was picked by celebrity guests Sam Smith, Tulisa, Little Mix, One Direction and Emeli Sande.
