She returned to the X Factor for the second time this series after getting the boot last year by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, but it seems contestant Monica Michael is wasting no time in using her newfound recognition to cosy up to celebrity men.
The aspiring pop star has shared an intimate picture of herself and Lee Ryan from Blue in which she can be seen snuggling up to the singer.
Posting the snap on Instagram, Monica wrote: “Me and the baby... Love this guy so much #LeeRyan.”
She also shared another photo with fans in which she can be seen holding hands with the boyband star and tucking her head into his shoulder as they walk along the road.
However, it seems they are just friends for the time being, with a source telling The Sun: “Monica is friends with all of the boys from Blue.”
Monica recently jetted off abroad with the last remaining contestants in her X Factor category to fight for a place in the upcoming live shows.
The singer will be seen this weekend on the ITV talent show as she performs for judge Rita Ora and helper Meghan Trainor.
Monica controversially failed to make it to the live final rounds of last year’s show when she didn’t impress Cheryl Fernandez-Versini enough during the six chair challenge.
