It's almost the end of Dry January, which means that many of you are preparing for the hangover of the year. Uh oh!

Picture this... Your head's pounding, body's aching and your eyes are so puffy they're pretty much permanently shut. You can't feel your toes because they're tingling so much from the alcohol-fuelled dance moves you were busting out and the first thought that springs to mind is "NEVER. AGAIN.". Sound familiar?

Once the room stops spinning, you'll be pleased to hear that there are some other hangover remedies than two paracetamol and a pint of water. And while they may be a little more expensive than a pack of pills, they're sure to have you feeling a million dollars before you go back to bed for the evening (or to work for the day, no judgement here).

Here's what you need to sort you out when you wake up instantly regretting the one, two, actually, no, probably more like three too many you had last night:

Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb and Rose Bath and Shower Gel1 of 10

Molton Brown Delicious Rhubarb and Rose Bath and Shower Gel, £22

First things first, DO NOT skip a shower. You might be late and you might be on death's door but stinking of booze and regret won't do you any favours. Grab a gorgeous, revitalising shower gel like this one from Molton Brown and wash off all the stank from the night before. Top tip: if you cry in the shower, no one will know!

Gel Cooling Mask2 of 10

Gel Cooling Mask, £9.26

Drinking fizzy drinks can be a nightmare for your skin, so it's time to de-puff and get it back under control. Put a gel mask on your face while you frantically panic-text your mates about the idiotic stuff you got up to last

Garnier Fresh-Mix Face Sheet Shot Mask with Vitamin3 of 10

Garnier Fresh-Mix Face Sheet Shot Mask with Vitamin, £14.99

If you've had a face full of make-up on, your skin will need some R&R. Because of its antioxidant properties, vitamin C aids in your skin's natural regeneration process, perfect to smooth over the debauchery you'd rather forget. That's how skincare works, right?

masqueBAR Hydro Gel Eye x 30 Pairs4 of 10

masqueBAR Hydro Gel Eye x 30 Pairs, £29.99

If you don't have time for a full mask, you can at least deal with the definitely not designer bags beneath your eyes. These dark spot eye patches are great for whenever your skin needs a pick me up and the big pack will last you ages. Stick them on for half an hour and watch the tiredness disappear.

Too Faced Hangover Primer5 of 10

Too Faced Hangover Primer, £12

Now, to look remotely human. Too Faced LITERALLY created a primer for hungover skin, so it's a must-use. It's perfect for lacklustre skin that needs a boost of dew in general, or before applying

Lumene Invisible Illumination Instant Glow Beauty Serum7 of 10

We'd recommend steering clear of lots of make-up today, go minimal, but make it count. This serum from Lumene gives you glowy coverage but hydrates your skin as soon as it touches it. It's

Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'n' Kohl Eyeliner8 of 10

Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'n' Kohl Eyeliner, £19

This universal nude-coloured eye pencil is great to use in your waterline and the inner corners of eyes. It creates the illusion of whiter, brighter and more awake eyes. Nailed it.

Bourjois Shine Edition Lipstick No 23 Grenadine, £6.509 of 10

Bourjois Shine Edition Lipstick No 23 Grenadine, £6.50

They say that a dash of bright lippy can distract from whatever the rest of your face looks like, so why not give it a go?

skyn ICELAND Skin Hangover Kit10 of 10

skyn ICELAND Skin Hangover Kit, £20

A hangover kit? For your skin? YEP. We wish to kiss the face of whoever created this beauty. It has literally everything you need to make you feel refreshed and ready to take on the day. The only thing it won't do is cure your headache (sorry).
