Emma Roberts Emmys 2015

Have you had enough of looking at the glamour of the Emmys 2015? Nah, we definitely haven’t. In fact, we’ve now taken it one step further and are STEALING glamour.

Gorgeous actress Emma Roberts attended the red carpet awards looking stunning in a floor length Jenny Packham champagne-hued gown with matchy extra and flawless beauty. Rather than pull her hair up into a stuffy up ‘do, Roberts opted for a sleek loose look with stunning Hollywood waves.

The “modern take on an old Hollywood sultry start” vibe was created by Nikki Lee at Nine Zero One using Unite.

We think this look is perfect for a simple wedding 'do. Fancy stealing some of Emma’s style for yourself? Nikki tells us how…

Step 1

I started with prepping her hair with UNITE 7Seconds Leave In Detangler (£16.90), then sprayed UNITE Boosta Spray (£16.60) at the root to mid shaft for volume.

Step 2

I usedUNITE Blow & Set Lotion (£16.60) for her ends blowing her out with 2" round brush adding a nice bounce to her hair. After I blew her out, I set her hair by spraying UNITE 7Seconds Glossing Dry Thermal Shine (£18.80) to protect her hair from the heat of the 1 and 1/2" curling iron I used.

Step 3

I took 2" sections all around her head wrapping the hair downward and pinned them with a duck bill clip to hold into place. Once completing the set I did a light mist of UNITE MaxControl Spray (£17.80).

Step 4

I let the hair cool for about 15 minutes. I then took all pins out and began brushing all her curls out with a boar bristle brush. This is a key element to creating that old Hollywood wave.

Step 5

After I brushed and created the shape I was happy with I locked it in to place with UNITE Session Max Hairspray (£18.80).
